How much does financial planning cost?

Our planning memberships are billed monthly: Silver is $100–$250, Gold is $300–$550, and Platinum is $600–$1,000, depending on the complexity of your situation. Investment management, if you choose it, is priced separately on a published schedule. You'll see every number on our pricing page before you commit to anything.

Do I need a certain amount of money to work with you?

No. There are no asset minimums. Because we charge for planning rather than only managing investments, we can help you whether you're building your first real savings or managing a complex balance sheet. See our pricing page for the tier that fits where you are now.

How are you paid?

Accepted Answer

Money Planning is fee-based. Most of what we do is paid through your monthly planning membership. If you choose to have us manage investments, that's a separate, published AUM fee. When insurance is the right tool for your plan, we may earn a commission, and we'll always tell you when that's the case. The goal is full transparency on how every dollar is earned.

Can I start with a one-time plan instead of a membership?

Yes. Some clients start with a one-time engagement and move into an ongoing membership when they want continued guidance. We'll help you decide which makes sense on your intro call.

Are you a fiduciary?

Accepted Answer

Yes. As a CFP® professional, Alex is held to the CFP Board's fiduciary duty, which requires acting in your best interest when providing financial advice. We also explain every recommendation in plain language, so you understand the reasoning behind it.

Do you work with clients outside of Tampa?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We're based in Tampa and do plenty of local, in-person work, but the planning relationship is virtual-first, so we serve clients across the country. Even estate documents can be signed remotely with an online notary.

How often will we meet?

It depends on your tier and how much is happening in your financial life, but most clients meet several times a year with ongoing access to Alex by phone and email in between. We typically connect around tax season, mid-year, and year-end, plus an annual review.

What does your planning process look like?

Everything starts with cash flow. From there we work through protection (insurance), estate planning, and a wealth-accumulation strategy (your points of discussion) and revisit the whole plan every year as your life changes. You can read more on our about page.

How soon will I have my financial plan?

Once we have your information, your plan is delivered in bite-sized modules and completed across your first year together, not dropped on you all at once in an overwhelming binder. That pacing means you can actually absorb each piece and act on it.

What does ongoing financial planning include?

Can you help with wills and trusts?

Yes. We prepare wills, trusts, and powers of attorney in-house, which keeps the cost far below a traditional attorney, and the price is deeply discounted when bundled with a planning membership. See the packages under estate pricing.

Do I have to let you manage my investments?

Accepted Answer

No. Planning and investment management are separate. Many clients work with us for planning only. If you'd like us to manage investments too, ongoing-planning clients receive a reduced AUM rate.

Can you work with my CPA and attorney?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We coordinate with your existing CPA, attorney, and other professionals so everyone is working from the same plan. We're happy to quarterback the team or simply be a teammate.

What is subscription financial planning?

Subscription financial planning is an ongoing relationship with an advisor for a flat monthly fee, rather than a percentage of your investments. You get continuous advice, plan updates, and accountability across your whole financial life, not a one-time document. It removes the traditional asset minimum, so you can get real planning while you're still building wealth.

What does an ongoing financial planner actually do?

An ongoing planner helps you make better decisions across cash flow, taxes, investments, retirement, insurance, and estate, and keeps the plan current as your life changes. The value is less about a single recommendation and more about having a trusted partner who sees the whole picture and helps you act on it year after year.

Money Planning is fee-based. Most of what we do is paid through your monthly membership, with optional investment management on a published schedule. When insurance is the right tool, we may earn a commission, and we'll always disclose it. The point is transparency: you'll never wonder how we're paid.

Do I need to be wealthy to work with a financial planner?

No. That's the old model, where advice was tied to how much you could invest. Because we charge for planning and have no asset minimums, many of our clients are early in building wealth, high earners who aren't rich yet, and business owners whose net worth is tied up in the company.

Is financial planning worth the cost?

For most people, yes, through better decisions, fewer expensive mistakes, smarter tax and investment choices, and a lot less stress. We can't promise a specific dollar return, but the goal is for the value of the plan to clearly outweigh its cost. Tax planning alone often covers the fee early on.
